    Scubapro Yulex vs. Henderson Greenprene

I'm wondering the same thing. I had one of the old (regular neoprene) 3/2mm ScubaPro Everflex suits that I used for years as my tropical suit. But I need to replace it because I damaged it on a recent trip to Cozumel. I was thinking about trying a Henderson Greenprene 3mm because they are...

    Super Nice Dive Beacon Light

How big of a piece of pool noodle would I need to maintain positive buoyancy up to 60 feet of depth?

    Aqua Lung i550

No. The no-fly time expires 24 hours after the last dive. It's now been 60 hours since my last dive. My de-sat time after my last dive was was only 10 hours. So, there's no reason why the computer should still be on 60 hours after my last dive. My last dive was in freshwater; nevertheless I...

    Aqua Lung i550

My Aqualung i550 is malfunctioning AGAIN! This thing has already been sent back to the manufacturer once before to repair the time-lag issue, dives disappearing from the log, and inaccurate temperature readings. Now it's doing the "never-shuts-off" thing. It's been on for over 24 hours...

Everflex 7/5mm Steamer Vs. Sport 7mm Steamer

    1) I didn't realize this forum was only for ScubaPro officials. I was asking anybody. 2) I didn't realize that I am required to dive dry. I've been perfectly happy diving wet in Ohio & Pennsylvania since 2013. Is that OK with you? Also, why are you telling me to buy a "real" dry suit? Did I ask...

Everflex 7/5mm Steamer Vs. Sport 7mm Steamer

Does anyone know which of these two wet suits would be warmer? I'm getting conflicting information from local dive shops. Some people tell me the Sport would be warmer because it's a full 7mm, whereas the Everflex is 7mm only in the core. Other people tell me the Everflex would be warmer...

    Catalina Island Info

So, would you say the chances of there being at least 3 other scratch divers to fill a charter are good or not good?

    Aqua Lung i550

I returned mine to the dive shop where I bought it, and they sent it to Aqualung for testing & repair. I got it back about 3-4 weeks later. Fortunately, it was at a time when I couldn't go diving anyway, so it didn't inconvenience me too much. Seems to be working perfectly now.

    Catalina Island Info

Catalina Divers Supply tells me they need at least 4 or 6 people for a boat to go out (4 for guided, 6 for non-guided). I'll be traveling alone in the middle of the week (September 11 to 13). What are my chances that there will be at least 3 other divers? Is mid-September still the busy season?

    Catalina Island Info

I'm heading to Avalon in mid-September. Never been to Catalina before. What are the conditions like at that time of year? Water temp, visibility, etc.? I'm wondering which wetsuit I should bring. Is mid-September still peak diving season, or will the crowds have thinned out by then? I'll...

    Aqua Lung i550

Eddie, did you ever get this issue resolved? I'm having the same problem with my new i550 computer. In fact, mine is malfunctioning in 3 ways: 1. All my dives disappeared from the log, even though the Summary screen shows that I have 19 dives. 2. Inaccurate temperature readings at depth. It was...
