    What wing to get.

The VDH is a fun little wing to dive with. This gives you an idea of its size.

Puerto Plata Dominican Republic DR in February - dive shop and sites?

I've been diving with a shop called Superior Dive in Sosua. Luke is amazing to dive with. Check out their website. They only do private dives yet the prices are decent. Superior Dive Sosua - Scuba Diving Sosua, Cabarete, Dominican Republic

Any reviews on the Deep Six wetsuit?

I bought the 3mm suit recently and have had a couple of dives with it. Being my first wetsuit I don't have much experience to go off of. But it does keep me warm even in the low 70s (it kind of depends on the person.) The neoprene is very high quality. The seam connections are sealed so no...

    Tech fins?

Get Deep6 Eddy Fins. They're great. Light. Stiff. Large and comfortable foot pocket. Everything that a Scubapro JetFin has but in a lighter more comfortable form factor. They certainly won't sink if you accidentally drop them in the water. Has neutral buoyancy.

Wetsuit buoyancy: Loss in depth - how big should be BCD

So if the lead is droppable like on a weight belt than your wing doesn’t have to have the same amount of lift as the weight?

Wetsuit buoyancy: Loss in depth - how big should be BCD

If I wore a drysuit how much lift would my bc need?

    BCD choice for drysuit

Doesn't the buoyancy not change when diving a drysuit? Doesn't this mean that the bc doesn't need much lift at all because there is no real loss of buoyancy to compensate for? I am wondering because I have an #18 wing and would like for it to work with a drysuit in the future.

Planning out my first BP/W: critique my ingredients list

Do you think you need more than 18 lbs of lift when diving with a drysuit? Because doesn't the buoyancy not change with a drysuit so you don't really need to compensate for any buoyancy?

Do the bottom corners of the wing fold backwards so it wouldn’t dig into my waist?

You could either clip it to a d-ring on your right or back. You could also buy a thigh pocket and put everything in that. That's what I do because nothing is dangling.

Does the DGX plate have bottom corners bent backwards? That's a must for me.
