Hi, I am looking for a Kihei area instructor with solid experience working with kids to handle private ocean dive OW section for a 10 year old. Doing the classroom and pool work at my local shop, but want the ocean section to be warm clear water. All recommendations appreciated. Thanks!

Hi...(DM, 200 or so dives, California, Maui, Kauai, Red Sea, Barbados, Costa Rica) .....headed to Kona in September for 10 days or so of diving. Mostly am boat trips (my wife doesn't dive), but hoping to do 2-3 of the longer range/advanced trips, the manta/blackwater/pelagic magic night dives...

Spectre out of Ventura is also a really good one day option out to Anacapa/Santa Cruz depending on conditions.

I did it twice...the first trip we struck out on hammerheads, but did see a monk seal and a grey shark. Nice reef before you head out into the channel as well. Second trip was great 3 big hammerheads 12-14 feet on the first dive, 5 good sized ones on the second 8-12 ft. The ride out was eventful...

I thought I would follow up. The trip was wonderful. Lanai and the Molokai Hammerhead Dives were great with Lahaina Divers. The AL 72s we’re fine. Molokini Crater is ok, clear high viz dive with lots of fish, but not spectacular. The Wall dives are well worth the trip. Ed Robinson’s was great if...
