    Sold! ScubaPro Exodry neoprene drysuit

I looked at the ScubaPro sizing chart, which indicates the 3XL is designed for someone 6’5”. I’ve never really found the sizing charts to be accurate. I’m 5’11” and weight 230. I have a ScubaPro 2XL 5mm semi-dry that fits well. Would the 3XL fit, considering under layers are worn?

Oly 4/3 best lens for blackwater ....

I was supposed to be doing a Blackwater dive tomorrow with Pura Vida, in Florida. I’ve been actively talking to the photo pro there that teaches the Blackwater Macro class and she recommends the 30mm macro for the 4/3 system.

Getting to Cayman Brac from Houston

Flying into Grand Cayman means transferring to a small Twin Otter to get to Cayman Brac. It’s the flip of a coin if your bag makes it on the plane with you, or comes on a later flight. Going through Miami you’ll be on a 737, which means you don’t have the baggage issues you do with the twin otter.

    Strobes for Blue Heron Bridge

Headed to Blue Heron Bridge for the first time later this month. I've been watching lots of YouTube video and the visibility there seems to vary a lot, as well as the amount of particulates in the water. I'm taking my camera, an Olympus E-M10 Mark IV, and wondering about strobes. I have...

    Underwater photography course recommendations

I shoot the same camera, albeit I use different strobes. Backscatter has a newly released video for the Olympus camera using the RC mode, if you have not seen it yet give it a look. I'm a huge fan of Backscatter and their videos but I also know they have their own way of doing things. I use...

    Tips for Blackwater Photography

Bill, I have an Olympus E-M10 Mark IV mirrorless, with Backscatter MW-4300 video lights and MF-2 strobes. I also can get two Inon S-220 strobes to use. Do you leave you housing focus light on all the time to help search, or only when you are preparing to shoot?

    Tips for Blackwater Photography

Going to dive Blue Heron Bridge toward the end of February and figured as long as I was in the area I'd try the Blackwater Dive that Pura Vida offers on Thursdays. This will be my first blackwater dive and I'd like to take my camera and try to get some pictures. I'm not sure though if I would be...

Question My biggest fear (on my first liveaboard trip).

I've been on the Belize Aggressor III and we had a fantastic time. The crew was great, food was good and most importantly the diving was good (was not impressed with the Blue Hole, but that is just my opinion). Lots of opportunities to dive with sharks too. That said, there were no land...
