Here are some franklin bifocals we recently installed in a scuba pro d mask (we are loving this mask for prescription lenses).

All,
I am trying to post an article a week or so about different prescription dive mask issues or questions. You can find our full list of articles on our blog:

I just pushed out an article on prescription dive mask concerns for underwater photographers:

Howdy all,
I hope everyone is staying safe and able to enjoy a bit of diving as appropriate. In December, I went down to Cancun and did a bit of diving. I did dive a couple atomic masks and tested out a new camera system.
Feel free to check out my blog here:

HI all,
I just posted a gallery of bifocal lens dive masks, so divers have a better idea of what their dive mask might look like with lenses. Check it out, and let us know if you have any questions!

Howdy Fellow Divers!
Happy New Year! We install more bifocal lenses than any other type of lens. We get a lot of questions about the different types of bifocal lenses and dive masks are available.
I created a youtube video and a blog post about this subject. Please see the links below, and let...
Hi All-
We are excited to announce our grand opening celebration at our new space. I would love to see all our local dive friends here. There will be some awesome giveaways and special pricing. We ask that you RSVP so we can plan food and drink wise (hate to see anyone go thirsty ;) ).

To our Houston Diving Community-
We have almost fully completed our move to our new space at 2501 South Shepherd in Houston, Texas 77019. We are just north of Westheimer on Shepherd. In the next week or two we will still be back and forth during the move, but would love to see anyone who would...
Progressive lenses don't really offer you an advantage underwater and add significant cost. Can it be done? Yes but think about 1.5x to 2x our normal cost.
If you need only near vision, we can create a custom reading lens for you in whatever shape you'd like at the bottom (or even the top) of...
Hey Fathom- Great to hear from you.
We do Atomic masks all the time. Atomic puts really awesome glass in their masks. We use Zeiss glass which has great clarity and is clear. Tints are available as a special order.
You are right that it is two separate lenses. Please see the below examples of...
Great question- We have actually gone as high as -28 on one eye and -21 on the other as in this mask below. We actually have a post about prescription strength on our site.
This was a pretty cool project for a unique customer that always wanted to scuba dive, but could not.
I don't have any...
HI All,
I wanted to introduce myself and See the Sea RX to Scuba Board. We are a prescription dive mask supplier in Houston, Texas, but we do ship masks all over the world. In addition to prescription dive masks (installing lenses in your masks or into one of our masks), we also provide...
Hi All-
On another side note, if you have any questions about our prescription dive mask products, we now have a thread for our products:

All- As a stated before, be very careful with acetone/Lacquer thinner as these have the possibility of damaging the skirt of the mask and causing leaks- but if you are able to protect the skirt, they won’t damage the glass.
With that being said, this seems to mainly be an issue with the ultra...
Our cleaning process is more than just trying to head off defog, as we need to prepare the glass for our bonding process. We take steps that you all would never need to do just for defog purposes.
In early experimentation with different substances, we decided to test acetone as a cleaning...
Hi All-
Thanks as always for the invitation to discuss.
I can confirm that frameless masks do give us more trouble, and we did have an incident early on when an rx lens on a frame less mask for a customer did fail to maintain the proper bond during their diving (which we of course replaced)...
