We were diving off the Bahamas Master. They were quite safety oriented on the shark dives; there was also a safety diver behind the lines, who you don't see in any of the shots, that kept an eye on everything.

Thanks. Several reasons: overall aesthetics (this is of course somewhat subjective) most people nowadays watch on phones, with aspect ratios wider than 16:9 it gives a bit of freedom in post to vertically reframe without having to crop in and lose quality
