Home for public display of vintage gear?

Here's a couple of pictures/videos. I visited the museum about 5-6 years ago and really enjoyed it. Watch from 7:19 to 7:30 And this still image https://graveyardoftheatlantic.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/2017-NCMM-FullLayerSlider-Hatteras-006-1024x576.jpg

Anchors and ladders for a 12' RIB

I wouldn't trust a mushroom anchor in anything but the lightest of winds and currents. Depending on where you are diving and if anyone will be in the boat to monitor if the anchor starts dragging, I would err on the side of more holding power than you think you will ever need...

The way I'm reading that order, it's just the minor E.G. that has settled, correct?

Experienced Divers: What are the most common "oh, crap!" situations?

In his message, he said, "without scuba." You're warning is valid if your breathing compressed air, but a surface breath, submerging, then standing up would not cause an AGE.

New Apple Watch is a dive computer

Did you have your iPhone with you at the time, or did you just have the watch? It's possible that the watch was connected to the phone and using its international service and not being dependent on the cellular built into the watch.

But I poop in the late morning (serious question)

Get up a little earlier and have more coffee and some fiber (like Metamucil). If that doesn't work, then use the head on the boat. No shame in that.

    Any news on this?

That type of explosion will be very energetic, but not a lot of burning. Consistent with the report of his face receiving burns. Here's an example that was posted earlier...

    Any news on this?

It sounds like it may have been fuel vapors in an enclosed space that ignited. The recommended procedure for gas-powered boats with an enclosed space (like an inboard engine) is running a ventilation blower for 3-5 minutes before starting. Based on what I read, it sounds like he flooded the...

Losing weight when you don't have time to lose it

Be careful when looking at low-fat or non-fat options. Many times when the fat is removed it reduces flavor so they add sugar in to make it taste good. A lot of low-fat options are actually worse for you than the full-fat version.

Losing weight when you don't have time to lose it

The only real way to lose weight is to create a calorie deficit. You have to be burning more calories than you're consuming. I know that's an oversimplification, but it's the basics of any weight loss. You can either reduce the calories you're currently consuming, or you can start burning...

Multiple deaths diving off NC coast May 10, 2020?

I wasn't jumping to any conclusion. I was responding to your comment: Specifically, the computer can/does monitor the higher consumption rate and alerts to ascend earlier than expected. Also, there is an audible and visible alarm when that condition exists.

Multiple deaths diving off NC coast May 10, 2020?

My dive computer does that computation on the fly. It is air integrated and it's constantly calculating Dive Time Remaining (DTR) based on NDL, O2 accumulation, and Air Time Remaining. Whichever has the lowest value (least time remaining is displayed on the screen as DTR. For the air time...
