I have for sale a good condition Henderson Thermoprene 8/7 semi dry in size XL. It's got maybe 30 dives on it. It has a couple small superficial tears in the top layer from a backplate that don't go all the way through. $175 OBO located in Southern California. I will ship if buyer desires.
I replaced the neoprene wrist seals on my tri lam drysuit with a si-tech cuff system.
I first cut as much of the neoprene seals off the suit with scissors. Cut up to the suit material but do not cut the suit itself. I then used a small amount of MEK with an acid brush to weaken the old glue and...
I had an lp95 that was + rated, done again so I know it's possible to get another + rating as long as each hydro has had it. It was done by OC scuba in Tustin but they have since closed down. I'm not sure who they sent out to.
I'm selling an older Andy's trilam drysuit as it is now too big for me. Size is unmarked but I think it is close to an XXL. It fit me well with room to spare at 6ft, 285lb. Has 3xl boots, sitech quick cuff seals, neoprene neck seal in good condition, and a balanced p-valve. It is a back entry...
I have both f1 and f2 find and use them the same as kablooey. F1s are comparable to jet fins but I feel you get a smidge more thrust since they are a little longer, but I find it harder to pivot in f1 compared to jet fins.
My group did a night dive on 6/6/19 on the north side of Crescent Bay. Viz was decent, 10-20. A little clearer once you get on the outside of the reef. It was very surgey though.
I've been printing a couple accessories for my TG5 camera setup. I will post some pictures later of the actual prints but here are a couple screenshots. I made an adapter to hold a DGX video beam 600 light onto a locline YS adapter, and I have also been designing a poor man's snoot to fit my...
I have a TG5 with an S2000 and have been very happy with it but I use it mostly for macro. If I had to do it again, I would have probably opted for something like the D200 knowing it would be more versatile and be better suited for when I upgrade to a larger camera down the road.
You should be able to take off whatever paint he used with some solvent. Not much sticks well to the factory coating. I would start with rubbing alcohol, and if that fails go to a more aggressive solvent to see if you can get it off that way.
