Did you rent a car or Jeep? Since it’s our first time we thought that it would be fun to rent a Jeep, but on the other hand save a few bucks to spend on diving! ;)

Looking to rent a Jeep in Cozumel next month. Has anyone used Solymar rentals? Is it worth even renting a Jeep for 3-4 people? Or save a few dollars & rent a basic manual car? What about renting Jeep’s from Fiesta? I looked at Avis & Travelocity, but way more expensive than renting local...

I'll have to check if my 2mm vest/hood can fit under my 3mm suit...I may have added a few mil of natural padding recently. If not then I'll pick up a 5mm for the trip. I'd rather be a little warm, than cold for sure.

I came across this old post & wanted to know if the 3mm wetsuit was warm enough? I’m planning on going in December & have a 3mm & 7mil semi-dry. No 5mm yet but may get one for this trip. Thanks

The staff was firm on having a dive buddy & no dive along buddy at this time. So I’m hoping to get a dive in, but we’ll see how it goes. Haven’t been to UT, and looking forward to seeing snow again.

Well I’m on the waiting list, so hopefully I’ll get a dive in for the holiday. They didn’t mention anything about the coof restriction, but I also didn’t ask.

Thank you for the reply. I’ve seen a few YouTube videos of the place, and I called the office for more information. They said it was open part of the day, and offer a dive guide, just maybe not the days I’m visiting. I wouldn’t do solo or go skiing after...I’m an Eskimo, but not into skiing much...

Planning on going to Utah for the Christmas holiday. Has anyone dived the Homestead Crater? I’d like to dive Christmas Day or the day after, but need a dive buddy. Any divers diving over the holiday at the crater? Would like to join if possible.

Looking to get the new 5mm Henderson Greeneprene for warm water travels. The drysuits I am considering are the Aqua Lung Fusion Bullet, Apeks KVR1, or another brand...

Hi, If I may ask what was your initial weight when using this? I’m 5’8 @ 240lbs & would use a 7mm full wetsuit. Not sure if a LG would fit me... Nice bcd though.

A little late to the conversation, but I was also interested in the AL Legend LX. Most recently the Apeks XL4+ has caught my eyes, not to mention well within budget. I am a new diver & just deciding what gear to put together.
