In my case, my trip with Majestic is in August, and my trip insurance doesn't cover for hotels / flights that I already bought since the trip has not started / I'm not on Majestic when there was an accident.

Thank you for your suggestion. Doing day trips would be one of the option, but the highlight of Galapagos is Darwin and Wolf. We will try to contact Majestic and let's see what's their options. It's a heart-breaking moment to know that the trip planned is falling apart.
