    Yep, my wife did that drive for a couple of years while going to school too. I work in Gardner, so I have not heard of any quarries, but it may now be the Gardner lake? I will have to ask around here at work to see if any long timers have heard of the place.

    There is much travel planned, but that is from my wife. I would like to do more lake dives around Kansas area, but she loves to travel. No, Midwest Aquatics is in Overland Park, right off 69 and 159th street. They go to Table Rock lake for certification, but pool time is right at their location...

    New to the forum thing, along with SCUBA diving. But, figured what better way, than just the dive shop, to meet other divers. Getting SSI certification through Midwest Aquatics, hopefully in mid-October, when I do my open water training at Table Rock Lake. I have finished the online portion...
