@runsongas Thanks for the reply. Yes about the vintage, not sure where vintage starts, but from some of the LDS's blank stares you would think It was older than it is....Will look into the kits. Love the description the website you linked to had, "very rare", "Only a few thousand made"..

There is a great book about "Sable Island", I think it is called the Nymph and the Lamp. Also a book about early radio if memory serves me correctly.

New certified OW diver here. Was paired up with a new certified OW diver to dive a wreck in FL. First certified dive for "both" of us. Dive plan was that I would lead the dive. Buddy decides to enter wreck and swim through. Motions me to follow, which I do not, just wait for him to return...

Thanks for the reply. I'm in the USA now, so hooked on to the SDI training. I do remember Surface Marker Buoy training. I also took the boat handling course down in Milford Haven, that was a lot of fun.

I remember a wreck dive off the South coast of England, sheltered and close to shore with the deck/bridge at about 15m, an old WWII liberty ship sitting on her Hull. The visibility was great, which is unusual for the UK, and the welded plate had peeled like a banana. Was able to swim through...
