I'm one of the left side divers. My daughter and I took our initial OW classes in 2019. Mid-South SSI shop that also runs local university program. Everyone that learns OW through them is set up left side octo. When I asked my instructor why, he gave me the DAN list almost verbatim. Makes...
Still available. I'm also size 11 but have narrow feet. I found the foot pocket a little bit wide for my feet using a 5mm Fourth Element boot. Usable but not ideal. 10-11 seems to be the in between size for the Eddy. L or XL works depending on the foot/boot combo.
One pair Deep6 Eddy Fins. XL in white. These were out of the packaging long enough for me to realize they aren't a great fit for my feet. Never wet, will ship out in original Deep6 packaging.

Shipping - FedEx near me is awful. USPS and UPS decent...
Elastic but not bungee. I have an Oceanic Geo 2. The watch strap became irritating real quick. I didn’t like having to use the extender and it was always loose at depth. I tried a NATO strap that fixed the length issue but not the flopping around. Third try is an elastic French paratrooper...
I have a set of Deep 6 Eddy. XL white. Bought new at end of last year. Tried on for fit only. Never been wet. Still in the original shipping box. I’m in the US and at least seven days from being close enough for photos, shipping etc. Bad timing. Just had a close diving friend fly out to Israel...
Riding out Elsa in Marathon. Did manage to get dives in Sat and Sun. Straps appear to be the same between Go and Go Sport. They do come in multiple sizes. Research before you buy.
Pics of stainless screws below. I tried to find slotted vs Allen screws so just about any crude screwdriver...
You can use stainless cap screws. Metric. M4-.70x40mm work perfectly with nylon lock nuts. Can’t get photos for a few days. All our gear is packed up for the drive to Key Largo.
No affiliation. I just have this on my Ebay watchlist.

I ended up landing on this one. French Paratrooper style. Elastic. It works OK but the buckle is a bit of a pain. I'll probably end up with an elastic NATO...
I recently had this issue and lowering the mask strap on the back of my help fixed the issue. Lowering lets the strap pull more straight back and less up.
Not UK but I've had good transactions with water safety shop dot eu. SCUBA aside, I've had better luck with German and Danish shops online vs. UK. Car parts, electronics etc.
Careful with the heat shrink tubing. There is a fine line between hot enough to shrink the tubing and hot enough to weaken the nylon/polyester line. Good idea to test your line strength before you dive.
I'm a fan of O'Neill Skins shorts. $30-40 at Amazon. They are cut and sewn without a center seam running right through the middle of my important parts. They also holds up well to chlorine.
11.5B checking in. Not only skinny feet but typically right between sizes for most fins. Stumbled upon the combo of Fourth Element Amphibian/ScubaPro Go Sport. Haven't been able to find a better fit. Fully admit to being a new diver but the data point is still valid.
With pretty much any...
I wear dailies and use baby shampoo for defog. Never lost a contact. As previously suggested, I would look at fit. Once my contacts are in place they don't move unless I physically move them with a finger.
I've been struggling with PF since January until I found a stretch that worked. Runner's stretch with feet crossed has made a world of difference for me.
I'm using Fourth Element boots with insoles and Scubapro Go Sport fins.
We hit half a dozen beaches in the big island this past summer. My two favorite beaches to snorkel were Two Step and 49 Black Sand. Be sure to show up early as parking will be limited. 49 Black Sand is inside a gated community but there are a limited number of public parking spots. Just pull...
