Has anyone dove Stillhouse Hollow recently (within the last couple months maybe)? I spoke with someone from the dive shop there who claims 30ft+ visibility. I haven't ventured out to see for myself but may here soon if no one has been recently.

Just keep in mind 2 things: 1- Many of these people have hundreds, some even thousands of dives to look back on reflecting their experience. You are most certainly NOT more proficient or exponentially better at diving than these individuals after a couple of lousy dives. 2 - Ego has killed many...

It's out in Terrell, which is just East of Dallas. I really liked Scuba Ranch - great visibility and some interesting things to see.

I use a go pro on most of my adventures. I'm a big fan especially when both diving and snorkeling. I vote Yes, and you can pick up a hero 4 or 5 for real cheap now.
