I would try to get a current review on King before heading there. I was there in early November and the water was completely murky and absolutely no flow from the spring was visible. The vis was zero. I saw others reporting similar conditions for quite some time so I'd check to see how it is...
Seriously? Since when?
My husband and I dove there a lot before our cave certifications and the entrance signs and Janet (ranger) never required an instructor.

Yeah..the first article I posted mentions two separate deaths so in the same article is says "found at bottom" and "collapsed after surfacing" because its talking about two people and two different accidents 10 days apart.
But... there is also a difference between the two articles I posted...

I'm pretty sure it's what others have suggested. You are biting down on the mouthpiece and causing the fatigue. It happened to me a few times when I first started diving.
Try to relax your jaw. Practice removing your reg. under water so you will be confident that should it come loose you'll be...
The heel of my foot sticks out quite a bit. Much further than I'd actually like but that's the fin. I have small feet (7 womens) and am using the Large Jets. I've always felt like the foot pocket is not tall enough (its wide enough) to stick your foot in far enough.
I originally bought the XL...

I'm pretty sure FWC has a hotline where you could give the officer kudos or link to this thread. Since the big budget cuts in FL public kudos goes a long way to help state employees!!

Anyone want to get a meeting set up for this month? If we follow the last pattern we could do Tuesday July 15th. Any better times or suggestions? Sneakers was good and there is the new Wings cafe on Southside (Tinseltown) that is good too.

I think too that sometimes in classes, everyone present is an "equal" in their skill levels and the best candidate to lead may not be the one the instructor appointed. I'm not saying you weren't the best candidate by any means but the two other divers could have "felt" they were better equipped...
