    Suspended Course Director

Whoa! I know this is a really old post, but what happened to him? Anyone know where he is now? I took my IDC from him (which apparently was his last one). I hadn't heard anything about this. Was just gonna look him up since I will be in PDC...... Any info is appreciated.

Leaving next week for Playa Del Carmen and have question

Deffinately take the time to dive the cenotes. You will want to do more of them if you do one. They are magnificent! No matter who you go with, assume that they suck. Not to offend anyone, but diving with new people is always scary. Check your equipment, check your buddies, and check your...

    A real DEEP blue hole.....

I work in Playa Del Carmen in the summers. I'de rather be in the cenotes over the ocean any day. Can't get enough of them. Even if you've dove all the popular ones, there are always ones unexplored to go to. It's a MUST do. Have you ever seen a movie where someone is starting to pass...

    Playa del Carmen

Stay in Playa and you can have the best of all worlds. Hop over to Cozumel. Do the cenotes on the Riviera, go to Cancun, and Holbox for the whale sharks. And I must throw in there that my favorite reef in the area is Punta Venado. Cozumel is good, but you can have it all in Playa. Have fun.

Please Help! Playa Del Carmen/ Cozumel

Yes, I have used them. I actually went over a couple of days and did my IDC at their resort. They were very friendly and had nice equipment. The people that did their IE with them were happy with them too. They would be good if you don't mind paying a little more for using someone close to...

    Holbox whale shark dive

I stayed in Playa Del Carmen but we were transfered to Cancun to leave by high speed boat. We were back by 4:00. Here is the website I booked with. We are going again this year but I think we will use different people. That trip was too short. I'de like to stay in the water a little longer...

    Holbox whale shark dive

I did a great trip there last summer. It is all snorkeling only. We had to be at the shop at 4:00 a.m. but it was great. I even took my 11 year old and he loved it. WELL worth the money. Have fun! Jo

Looking for instructor in cancun area

I would deffinately recommend Adam from Scuba Caribe. The shop is located right of the pier and they have a nice boat. He is very patient and knowledgable. Just an overall nice guy. I did my IDC with him. Give him a call.

Riviera Maya area diving & cenotes

You can't go and not dive the cenotes!!!! Some shops will even take you to Angelita. If your not familiar with the cenotes, research them and ask for the ones you want by name. They will usually take you where you want. Cozumel and cenotes!....Doesn't get better than that!!! Have fun!

    Playa del carmen dive operators??

Yes, I've heard good things about Tank-Ha. I sent them an e-mail for a price quote on our group dives, but haven't heard anything from them. Tell them to check their e-mails. ;) Thanks for the info and I'll be interested to hear what else you have to say about them. Jo

Well, I had heard about a new building there but nothing deffinatel. I hope they get someone in there as helpful as Stella. I really like Perch, but it sounds a bit chilly still (at least for an OW class). I think I'll stick to Balmorhea for the OW class, but still may see you guys up there...

    Blue Hole/Perch Info needed

I haven't been to BH in a while. I was waiting to take a class there untill it warmed up a little and we could go to Perch a little more comfortable. Anyone know what the temp in Perch is now? What's going on with BH? I saw some of you might be there on the 18th. I might see you there...

    BC for women

I bought a BP/W setup after some convincing. I will NEVER go back. Be sure to get one small enough so that your comfortable. You can adjust them just how you want them and make them fit you perfectly. You can add as many "gadgets" as you want or keep it simple. Try it. You'll love it.

    Howdy from New Mexico

Hello. Nice to see a new woman in our area. I always need a buddy. Shoot me a PM if you need to plan a trip to Blue Hole or Blamorhea. I'm a new instructor and trying to get some reliable gear cheap too. Shoot me a PM and I'll tell you a few tricks I've come up with. Better yet, I agree...
