I was a student of hers back in the mid 80's and did some research diving with her up until the early 90's. It's hard to express in words what she meant to the marine environment and the world as a whole. It was a privilege to know her... there is a link at the end of this article if anyone...

This camera can do a decent job if you learn to play with it's settings to compensate for lack of some manual features. I also find that the TTL on my ys-01 doesn't work with this camera so I also set manual strobe output. Here's one of my favorites i've taken with the setup.......

Yep... overexposure is what is happening when I trigger the strobe through the diffuser.

Shot at about 90ft. .....and no tigers. I counted 7 different species of shark on the 2 dives.. truly amazing.

I'm trying to figure out the most "economical" way to get to PNG from the east coast. Does anybody have flight/hotel suggestions for getting there? I'm ultimately ending up in Alotau onboard the Star Dancer. In addition.... what's the weather/water like in early April in Milne Bay?
