Question Right size for latex seal replacement?

It's a second hand (and old) drysuit. I'm not going to invest too much on it, the neck ring system is maybe overkill on this one. I'm considering gluing on it a neoprene one as an alternative ... but first, I'd like to try the latex, which I find may suit me best, especially for the neck.

Question Right size for latex seal replacement?

Good to know. Does it really stretch that much in time? How "fast"?

Question Right size for latex seal replacement?

Still no answer from Seaskin to my email :-( I tend to agree, the conical shape makes me suppose I can cut it down (hence increasing the diameter) to fit a larger neck. But I really don't know if that's considered good practice ... I read everywhere cutting a latex seal may (with high...

Question Right size for latex seal replacement?

I'm going to replace (not myself personally though) a neoprene drysuit's latex neck seal, maybe with this one: Neck Seal Heavy Duty (Spare Part) - Seaskin Drysuits Shop - Purchase Drysuit Supplies My neck's circumference measures approx 38cm, so I guess their Medium/Large size (37-47 cm) should...

    cheap chinese video light review

Disclaimer: these torches are bad, they're cheap for several reasons! Unreliable, very short lifespan, bad manufacturing, lacking attention to details. Only advantage in buying them is they're cheap. That's my humble opinion on what I've personally experienced. People may disagree. Anyway, one...

Are there any XS size JetFin-style fins?

Actually I'm specifically looking for neutral fins to be used with a wetsuit. She already has bigger negative jetfins which are fine with her big (huge!) drysuit boot.

Are there any XS size JetFin-style fins?

My girlfriend has small feet (EU size 36), she really likes her JetFins (which are fine when diving drysuit with a big boot); she would like to buy some XS jetfin-style fins for wetsuit diving with a light boot, but she's not finding any ... well, at least not the brands she knows (Apeks...

Where to dive in Bavaria (Germany)?

Well, I'm only planning to dive for fun and to know someone over there, I'm certainly going to plan something with the most favourable conditions first. In the future ... will see. And yes, I do already have two flashlights :) I'm aware of the the ISE being active in Germany but I'm not going...

    Bad chinese spool reel

Agree. That line is way to thin in my opinion as well. Winding a proper line on that reel provides even less room through the holes :-(

    Bad chinese spool reel

I think I might share my disappointing experience with a reel bought at Aliexpress that may help others buy this stuff knowing its pros and cons beforehand. I thought a smaller reel would be easyer to store, so I bought this one: It's being sold at less then 5euros (plus shipping), it has a...

Where to dive in Bavaria (Germany)?

Hi :-) When all this Covid19 stuff will come to an end, I intend to visit Bavaria again and I'd like to dive during the journey. I wonder if you could suggest me some location worth the experience. I am AOW certified, going for a Deep in the next few weeks, no cave/cavern cert although that's...

    Yet another question about lights.

I'm using the Sofirn SD05 too and I am quite happy with it. Already had it 20 times underwater and no leaks or problems of any kind. Just be carefull with the ring, rinse it properly after every dive, it tends to stick after a while, maybe because of the salt (and/or sand) inside. I did spray a...

    DIY Bifocals Revisited

I'm using these ones: https://www.amazon.it/PRESBIOPIA-AGGIUNTIVE-REMOVIBILI-SPORT-SKI-PROTEZIONE/dp/B00KQU468G with relative good results. It doesn't need glue, it sticks to the glass using the water suface tension alone.
