Hi David,
Can I pick your brains about another dive knife please? If I am being a pain at any time just
say.
I am looking for information now on a Wenoka dive knife and through my search I have found
that are no longer, when I had my Dive Shop we could expect Wenoka to sell well.
The one I still...
Again, WOW David, you have an amazing collection, I am so jealous.
That helps me no end, great info, not only the Seadag but the Aquadag as well as I also
have one of these. The sheath is missing on both so the pictures also help me.
Thanks again.
George.
Wow, thanks David, I have searched all over the World Wide Web with no joy and here it is on my door step, so to speak.
Don't suppose you have any history on it?
My model is I believe from the 60's.
Cheers.
Hi Guys,
I need a little help getting some information on an old dive knife that I have, searched the web with no luck.
Someone on here must know the knife.
It's a Technisub Seadag
That sounds like a good idea.
I must say a snorkel would certainly help, I have a piece of plastic pipe (about 24")
that fits in the air intake on my compressor and is very efficient.
I have been fascinated reading this thread and it is always sad when a fatality happens.
The posts have contained just about everything from gas checks to ppm's, I don't recall
anyone mentioning filter changes and compressor running time logs.
I have only had a couple of posts yet but, I digress, the reason I joined (apart from the good debates)
is that someone was looking for a rubber knife loop for their Wenoka dive knife, if you recognize the post
PM me I may be able to help, I may have a few lying around.
Bob DBF you are quite correct, if it works for you, I was talking personally. I did try to add this on my first post
but it was removed as spam?
In my early days diving on wrecks with lots of fishing line and old nets I found knives on the lower leg and fin
buckles attracted line like a magnet...
Interesting so far, I am a "newbee" to scuba board but I would like to add the following comment.
Someone has already said cutting fishing line and sorry to say all the other rubbish on the sea bed a cutting tool is essential for safe diving.
I carry a 'sharp' knife and a net cutter in my BC...
