I said he jumped in the water with his pee-zip open. Don't understand why you refuse to read that. My point about installing a pee valve or zip wasn't a discussion about which one is doing what, just that you introduce another potential leaking point.
It was a zip, not a valve (I've corrected that) . He said it was hard to close it quickly - crotch strap got in the way and in 6C water you don't have much time. By the time he got it closed, he already got soaked.
I'm not saying it can't be a good thing to have, only that you should think...
1. metal vs ykk plastic zip - I have seen both, any personal experiences I should know? You should consider backzip vs frontzip: bacckzip zips tend to last quite a bit longer. Replacement of zips are expensive. I wouldn't set my money on plastic being better material than brass for a drysuit...
Is there a way to edit the buddy/DM list? I have looked an looked, but... e.g could be something similiar to how you edit the dive sites, perhaps? It’s akward when you have entered someones name incorrectly, and it will forever pop up as an incorrectly spelled suggestion....
Several drysuitmakers offers multiple size choices for both undergarments and drysuits, like Bare or Waterproof, Check it out e.g. Size Charts - BARE Wetsuits and Drysuits
