I have the Garmin Descent Mk I which can pin dive spots accurately (does this automatically for entry and exit points). Given the Descent is basically the Fenix 5 with a dive mode I'm sure it would suffice, though you'd need to manually tag spots.
I would also just counsel against Suunto in...
Interesting that you say M26 is only for >40%, Apeks seem to say anything over 21% needs M26 (and that this is the case for all ECC countries). I only need them for standard (<40%) nitrox mixes so I guess I'm in the clear.
Hi all,
I've just ordered some Apeks regs from a European website and it has since occurred to me that as the EU has regulations surrounding what connection can be used with EANx (anything above 21% O2 uses the M26 connector) that the DIN regs I've ordered may not be nitrox compatible/oxygen...
My bad, it should read 2.7kg/6lb and 5.5kg/12lb. I've edited my post.
Ideally, I want to be able to do it orally, but if I need to choose between visibility and ease of oral inflation then I'll bite the bullet and use an inflator hose. I'm starting to wonder if I should just launch deeper anyway.

I'm tossing up what size DSMB best suits my needs. I'm leaning towards the Halcyon DAMs but I haven't really decided. Using them as an example, I don't know if I should go...
I would definitely advise against storing it with no air in it. I don't know if fully inflated would cause problems but it's easier to just put a small amount of air in anyway, so that's what I'd recommend. The amount doesn't really matter - you'll be able to tell quite easily whether it's...
I'd probably see if Dive Doctor would get it in for me, they have the MTX-R. Haven't done much business with Global Dive (even though they're probably my closest LDS), Dive Doctor is much smaller but their service is just fantastic.
Pretty much anything you can tell me, there's so little information about them out there. One thing I was especially wondering about was the work of breathing. The MTX-R apparently has a super high WOB (1.75/J/L, though I haven't been able to confirm that number), more than double the XTX200...
