Yes i was indeed at Gullivers last thursday evening, vis sucked! However, i heard from someone else it was not bad this week (10 feetish) I was also at Innerkip on sunday and vis was about the same maybe even better then Gullivers. Just watch out for innerkip and the water quality, make sure...

another thing i thought this book was good at pointing out was that a dive never gets better only worse. It is never usually 1 single factor that leads to a death, but a multiple of issues compounded. We use this thinking in aviation all the time. We call it the swis cheese affect in air...

yeah i agree, and i think what they did for me in FL was good. It made me prove to myself that i didn't need some guy to help me, i am perfectly capable to handle it myself!

No one offered to help me in FL when i was cave diving, in fact i did ask for help lifting my tanks into the back of the truck and was told NO :-( mean cave divers

Thanks for the replys. I am thinking of going sidemount anyway, which i think i would prefer for caves!!! I have heard sidemount is better anyway??!! As for trimix, well nothing will stop me from trying, so i'll sign up like everyone else and try until i collapse if i must

Yeah i knew i was not alone!!! I'm not a wee fragile little girl, so if girls are doing this without a problem then i SHOULD be able to handle it. but yeah i'm having a hard time seeing how this is possible.
