I have the old school model without any additional buoyancy and it's negative. Later they added those floaty things but the newest models have a new detachable float system (scroll down for pic: BladeFish) though I haven't used it.
You're wrong again as usual...and actually it looked like the wounded warrior guys were rippin it in that little pool.

Well..they look awesome-very "Darth Vader" Maybe we'll hear something from DEMA or some one who has actually dived the unit (not SB Virtual Divers tho lol)
As you are a DPV manufacturer with an entire thread on SB devoted to promoting your product it would be prudent to disclose this as uninformed readers may take your opinion as objective. I've seen you on other threads doing this same type of thing against other DPV companies. You may not be...
If your looking for an outstanding scooter and don't mind paying $3700 this is a smoking deal-and it's tried and true not some new fangled scoot: Dive Extras

Of course you chose the slowest speed ;) and for a 42# $7000 scooter I'd hope it would outperform a $700 10 pound scooter as it 10 times more expensive!
I would delete if possible the link to Genesis DPVs and rescind my recommendation for them. After reading the specs I was shocked at the cost of the units and could not with good conscience recommend them.
