Its not exactly what you asked for, but I was in St. Lucia last year and was surprised how relaxing and "easy" the diving was. Definitely good for beginners....I highly recommend the Anse Chastanet Reef which can be done from a boat or from shore.

I was comfortable is scubapro 6.5 mm semi-dry at about 56 farenheit.

I was there last July (I don't think there is a substantial change in water temperature) and I dove a full 3mm just because that's how I'm comfortable, but several others on the dive boat were in swimsuit/t-shirt...

Correction, Nitrox isn't used for diving deep.

Between the two, I prefer Leisurepro. Also take a look at divers direct or scubatoys.

I am currently doing my DM training with Pan Aqua and I highly recommend them. All the instuctors and staff are top-notch and very dedicated. Cheers p.s. will also be going to the Maldives (in a couple months).
