Wanted Need Sherwood Avid CQR1 Weight Pockets

Like the subject says, I'm looking for two weight pockets. The BCD is quite old but has performed flawlessly since 2004. Thanks, and fingers crossed on this one.

Condensation Problem - Canon S100 with Canon UW Housing

I just had the same thing happen with my S100 on a dive, though I'm sure it would have happened with any camera and/or any housing. Luckily no damage and no ruined shots as the condensation was around the edges of the front glass. On the dive boat the camera bucket was crowded and between dives...

Taking pictures and videos with Canon S100

I'm using the latest chdk on my S100 and can't find the TTL menu. Can someone who uses this help me out. Thanks!

Wisdom I Dive computer Backlight brightness or contrast control?

The Wisdoms don't have a great backlight to begin with. I have a Wisdom 2 that Sherwood said could not be serviced, so I seriously doubt a Wisdom 1 will get repaired. Likely you'll get an offer to purchase a new W3 at a discount.

TTL On-Off Script for M (CHDK) with S100

Now that CHDK is available for the S100 FW 1.02 I need some help. I've got it installed and working but I can't find the TTL settings for manual mode or for that matter TTL over ride controls in Tv or Av. Can someone point me to where the menus are please? Thank you!

Taking pictures and videos with Canon S100

If in manual mode, hold down the Ring-Func button and dont let go, then use the arrows left and right to choose the shutter speed.

Taking pictures and videos with Canon S100

There is now a chdk for 1.02 and I just installed it. Now to learn a ton of stuff in a very short time, hopefully.

    Retiring my S50. Recommendations?

I just retired my S60 with the canon housing and bought an S100 with the canon housing. So far so good and it's very obvious I've switched cameras, a huge improvement in picture quality. I would prefer a camera that did TTL in manual mode but I would need different strobes. When you make the...

    My lesson learned

I will grant that I may have narced, probably was narced or definitely was narced. And that certainly affected my thinking process. I guess since my thinking and planning were so flawed it appears I was narced before I hit the water. However, I am 100% sure I did not hit 220' or 330' ft. I was...

    My lesson learned

The tank is a LP 125 and is full at 2400psi. I started with just over 2500. I did backtrack following the sloping terrain in the opposite of what I descended. Agreed, one of my mistakes was I didn't keep going until 10-18 ft. I had enough air to get there and did not think that through as I...

    My lesson learned

Sheez, so much for flame free forum announcement when you enter the forum. The blog was written well before I posted about it here. I've certainly read all the posts here very carefully and clearly understand them. I did learn a lot and I will continue my training beyond its current level. My...

    My lesson learned

I wasn't going to comment further but I just want to be clear that I have learned a valuable lesson. The comments on here, while harsh, are driven by a common thread of safety, planning, backups and limitations. As the saying says "It's all fun and games until you get poked in the eye with a...

    INON LD Lenses

As you can see from my posting I am looking for LD mounts. I just sold my AD mounts on eBay. The wide angle will bring pretty good money on eBay, the macro not so much. Both winners for mine were in Europe. Apparently there's a lot of interest over there.

Disassemble a Sea and Sea Strobe

I have a YS-90 DX Duo Auto that only fires at one strength regardless of the f/stop setting in manual. I took the plunge and removed the three screws holding the two halves together. No drama, simply three screws holding the two halves where a blue o-ring creates the seal. So now I need to get...

    My lesson learned

I don't think I ever said Lisinopril raised my BP, it lowered my BP which was elevated prior to taking the medication. If I typed the opposite somewhere I apologize, it is a typo. The really strange thing is that my BP did drop as low as it did. Something that had never happened previously and...

    My lesson learned

To be clear, I accept my responsibilities and the consequences of the decisions I made. I don't have any urge to sue Sherwood because the computer failed. But it certainly planted the seed of doubt when the rep said "We've seen this before". Other than that the onus is on me. I have read the...

    My lesson learned

Rather than re-tell the story, I'm posting the link to my incident. There are three parts: Part 1: Of Bikes and Bubbles: The Perfect Storm Part 2: Of Bikes and Bubbles: The Storm Continues Part 3: Of Bikes and Bubbles: It's Clearing, Somewhat After further analysis, I was also given a great...

    INON LD Lenses

I'm interested in INON LD wide angle and macro lenses. I understand there are some adapters to convert to 67mm so I would also consider that option. Thanks!

    Anyone selling a YS-110 or YS-90

This is cross post from the Sea and Sea Society forum, I couldn't decide where it was more appropriate. I'm interested in buying a YS-110 and/or a YS-90 even if it's not working. I plan on dismantling and trying to figure out what is causing mine to act erratically. For that matter if anyone...

    Anyone selling a YS-110 or YS-90

I'm interested in buying a YS-110 and/or a YS-90 even if it's not working. I plan on dismantling and trying to figure out what is causing mine to act erratically. For that matter if anyone has disassembled either of these I would be curious as to what they found. The problems are that my 110...
