    Scubapro 108 HP

Sounds easy enough. I'll look deeper into the media from VDH for sizes and specs. Apologies in advance but I may bother you all again in the future.

    Scubapro 108 HP

Sorry to drag up an older thread but may I inquire? You mention that one o-ring is extremely common. What about the other? I'm attempting to nail down parts sources to keep my 109, 108 and either Mk10 or Mk9 rig happy. Having breathed a more "Modern" setup on my last dive, I just can't get...

Bryan Pennington - Vintage Double Hose

Very saddened to hear of the loss. I wish I had met him. The knowledge he shared on his videos was amazing to me.

Synthetic grease for Scubapro 1st stage

Okay. Grease, I can get. Syringes as well. It won't be in the water until next weekend, so I'll try and inject some more grease, and soak it afterwards. The video makes packing with grease appear fairly simple with the right tools.

Synthetic grease for Scubapro 1st stage

I asked my wife to snap some pics for me since I'm at work today, so I'm sorry if they leave a little to be desired.

Synthetic grease for Scubapro 1st stage

I like it, for sure! I'm still a little shy about tearing into my dad's old gear, and don't have any tools or test equipment. On the flip side of that coin, I know I'm truly the only one that will give my gear TLC vs someone else that's just trying to make a buck.

Synthetic grease for Scubapro 1st stage

Will do. It is translucent in appearance to my eye, but I'll definitely get a photo up here ASAP.

Synthetic grease for Scubapro 1st stage

It appears to be packed with an appropriate type of grease. What I'm seeing looks like a pinhole in one of the vents. All of the others are solidly packed.

Synthetic grease for Scubapro 1st stage

And seeing a little void at one of the ambient holes in my freshly "Rebuilt" MK9 has me fretting taking it back out. Supposedly the guy that my LDS sent it to is the only certified SP tech around here. Now I'm not so sure I want my gear going back to him. I can access a syringe and Teflon...

    Hello from Louisiana

Brought my total to 7 over this past weekend, and got the blessing from my instructors. I'm certified, y'all! We did Vortex, and Stage 2 and Black Bart at PCB. Choppy and his team at Panama City Dive Center were top notch. We had a blast! The Scubapro setup and Tekna console performed...

    Hello from Louisiana

I lived in the Mandeville area at the time. Abita definitely would have been easier, but we did that trip basically on a whim. It was a riot! Good memories. PBB is a great place.

    Hello from Louisiana

Awesome! I've heard really good things about Pensacola's diving! My dad, brother and I proved a day trip would be easy when we made a one day cannonball run to Pensacola Bay Brewery and back. Wound up purchasing a growler of amber for each of my groomsmen and ushers.

Thanks much! Your input on SP equipment, and how bulletproof it is, has definitely inspired me.

    Hello from Louisiana

New here, and to diving period. Wrapping up my certification at the moment. I hope to dive with as much of my father's gear as possible. He has always spoken of how awe inspiring his trips were, and of the fishing he sometimes participated in. Now, 2 years after most of my friends have...
