Addison thank you for you inside on installing new switch. Did you made and deep dive with the updated torch? If I understand correctly you bypassed button backlight circuits and have now only two wires instead of previously four.
There are spare parts for original Nemo light and I believe the buttons are interchangeable. You can order buttons separately for 12 EUR here .
This video explains how you can replace buttons on Nemo dive lights:

I have found two "reasonably priced" video lights from China that look like they are solidly built. The manufacturer is Prozhaozhu. I believe both lights have an integrated battery back (3*18650).
First one is DL-V04 6000 lm white light + red + blue light. Declared depth is 200m/600ft and beam...
Now it's possible to buy this light in different colors (black, red and blue) and also there is light with an integrated battery. If they would update the light with a magnetic switch I would consider replacing my 'old' pair.
Just for reference if you buy this video light, don't buy with batteries as they are usually not good.
I ordered batteries separately (Liitokala), but they are still in transport. To test I had to use batteries I got with my bike light, but had to dismantle the battery pack. Light (QH27) works...
Was looking about solo diving a few years ago, as it was interesting to me how you can dive solo, as solo was second rule you shouldn't brake when I was doing my OWD (just after don't hold your breath). At that time there wasn't any solo class available where I live. Can someone explain why...
I have ordered one to test. Have decided to get middle one as it has wider area around the head to cool off. Will try to emerge it to 10m without batteries to see if it will leak.
On first look it is solidly build, I have expect less for this price.
Don't get me wrong. If possible I would preferred smaller tank, as its less drag and easier to transport. But if you can stay down longer and have additional gas in reserve, I would go for bigger tank. 300 bar tank is expensive and hard to find refilling for it (where I dive) so not an option at...
I'm not talking about dive time, but bottom time. From your diving profile you were only 7 minutes at 30 meters. If you are doing wreck dive in blue you will not spend 1h between 10-15 meters.
I was probably to optimistic about EU as it has to many countries with different rules and how to do things. I'm talking about Adriatic Sea, 15l is the standard here.
In EU we usually use steel. Only small girls use 12l tanks other have 15l or 18l. Some have even 2x10l.
So AL 80 is 10l tank, for 33m (108ft) wreck dive. Its stupid as you will only have a few minutes bottom time. You can do it, but what's the point.
Ex deepest pool is Y-40 in Italy. The regime is the same as you can only take mask, computer and camera and other things you get at the pool. Temperature is constant and swimsuit is all you need.
Its pretty exiting at first, but after you explore everything in 15 minutes it gets boring. Would...
