I would love to help you find a good home for it 😉😉
If parts become hard to find,
I would make them,
Nothing wrong with it,
go have fun and dive it. Who cares that others don't know what it is.
You're the one that needs to know
I could see a nail gun working underwater, just from my experience of fixing them.
Buy it may need a bit of a snokle on the exhaust.
As long as you are not pushing the biggest nails its rated for you probably would be fine. Time to experiment.
Also framing nail guns tend to be quite easy to...
Since you are just starting. And if you don't want to spend the money at the moment.
Learn and use gauges and a timer and tables. It has worked for a long time.
Problem is unless you have a guage and timer already. You might as well buy a computer...
The other way will be more controversial is...
For what it's worth. In hydraulic cyl.
Some have a buffer seal before the main seal...
So main seal doesn't see a spike.
It still will see full pressure.
And one for doublehose reg.
Funny thing is I really don't like switching to a whole different set of regs or backplate....
there is something warm and fuzzy about the set you dive all the time.
I dive double 72s the most.
Going down south diving aluminum 80s seems almost sketchy...
I...
I normally get most of my hardware from a nut and bolt supplier....
They should be decent, but one never knows these days.
I am sure the alloy is important.
I was more concerned of the SS work hardening. From repetitive loads.
I have been told SS likes to let go in most inconvenient times...
Just my opinion...
But I am not so sure I would use ss bolts in that kind of application....
Unless the bolts are not being overly stressed, then it should be fine.
If you do. I would run a die over the new SS bolts. It tends to be a smoother thread. And less chance of galling....
If you are trying to be lighter than a bcd and tank on your back. I don't think any of these solutions will work...
Breath holding is your best bet.
If you can't get tanks filled then breath holding is your best bet.....
Maybe add a DPV to cover more area.
Single tank scuba is the most light...
Reasons for noise, is
-Gas engine kinda hard to do anything about that. Unless you build a silent pack around it....
Electric is quiet. But tend to run a small compressor at high rpms.
For compactness and light weight. That makes noise.
A bigger compressor run slower. On electric. Be the...
After changing a few of these.
My next plan is to stick an 18650 or smaller battery in and make an other external screw contact or two, ( think it can be done with one contact, if my memory is correct).
So I can charge it externally..... and stop cracking it open.
What you really should do. Is fill all tanks, and dive all tanks.
Don't think you will find transfering is useful. The 72s are just to big. Pony tanks yeah, that works find.
But to do it regularly.... gets old fast.
And who wants to start any serious dive underfilled..... its find if your...
