Looks like I'm on my own in the opinion that Grand Cayman has way better diving than Cozumel. I've done both, and Grand Cayman was my favourite, hands down. Not even a competition! :D

I'm a fan of wet notes. They live in my drysuit pocket and they don't dangle around anywhere. Lots of space to write in them, too. I could compose poetry on them if I was so inclined. :p And I love the not-having-to-erase-after-every-note-i-write thing, too. I just flip the page when it's full...

I've never had a mask come completely off my face (except when it is randomly removed from my face during a few training dives by another diver :D), but it has been dislodged. In which case I just put it back in its proper place, clear, and continue.

I am with the majority here...I want to see my total price, including fuel, including tax, including the tip...I want the final number. I know it seems cheaper if listed the other way...but it is easier for me to budget if I know the total amount I will be spending.

I am canadian, and I have DAN, mainly because it was the only one I knew about when I first signed up for it when I was a new diver. You are in BC...I have heard our normal medical coverage covers one chamber ride a year. So you don't need DAN or DiveAssure, not really...unless you are...

Oh, I was up at Powell River for a weekend at the end of April...though the viz wasn't great, it sounds like we had it better than you guys. I do like the diving up the Coast though. Very pretty. I hope the viz cooperates for your next trip!
