Hi,
I just heard that Ducks dive has openings for this weekend. If anyone is interested in getting wet, give Susan a call.
Might see you there.

I have book Blackbeards for the end of Feb. 21- 27. I can't wait. There are still a couple of spots left if anyone is interested. They are going for $719.00US. PM me if you are interested.

Add a seacure #2 mouth piece to the Apeks reg. It does two things. It gets rid of the rubber taste and gets rid of the sore jaw from bitting down too hard.
The Apeks are an exellent reg and easy to service.
Apeks currently holds the depth record with the TX100.

I prefer the OMS manifold. it is stronger and is easier to set up. The captured "O"ring is what is used in your din valves. I have been diving the capyured "O"ring style for 6 years with no issues. The barrel style that needs two "O"rings means it has a failure point and that they are trying to...
Have you tried giving George and Susan a call? They might be able to help you out. I think that they would be more than happy to help if they can.

I believe the increase in charter costs are due to the upgrade costs that the operators experienced last year. I know of some operators that still have upgrades to do this year just to stay in business. We are still lucky here in Ontario that charter costs are not 80.00 per day as in some other...
Who did you use to dive her? If you don't want to post names please PM me and give me details as I'm in the process of setting up a charter there. I would like to know who to use and who not to since Ed is no longer doing charters.
Thanks

Your right, Suunto has been very good about identifing the problem and what steps to follow so you do not crash the computer. Your idea of waiting sounds like a good one as long as you stay away from diving it in Nitrox mode and using the SIM function.

My understanding when talking to SUUNTO was that it is a world wide recall.
I would send it in and let them decide rather than you keeping it and hoping it dosn't crash.
It's not a nice feeling at 100' when it decides to stop responding.
Send it in....

I believe I was the first in Canada to report the problem with the Vytec and had it sent back to Suunto for testing. I actualy crashed the replacement they sent me too before the recall. The latest I have heard on replacements is that they are shipping out July 26th to North America and it takes...
I can't vote. I'm a DM and I use a computer. Are you missing a catagory for the DM's out there? As a DM we use our computers and tables in our club. We do not do the calculations for the divers but we check their dive profiles that they have supplied.

The set up is easy. You should have the LDS do it so you can ensure that it is done with no worry's. I'm not saying that you could not do it, but why take the chance. Let the people who look after and take the training to do that kind of thing, most places might do it for free or might be...
DG, did you post this site?http://www.gtcs.org/index.html This is POW's Kingston wrecks that they look after. This is only a few of the wrecks that you can enjoy in the area. all are fantastic.
