    Scubapro Jet Fins

Thank you. Unfortunately my LDS is not a Scubapro dealer. I actually instruct through the shop but his retail line leans more towards recreational diving. For technical gear I am sometimes forced to look elsewhere. This is one of those times. Many thanks.

    Scubapro Jet Fins

Are scubapro jet fins still available? I can not locate them through normal outlets on the web, all sites seem to be "out of stock". There seem to be knockoffs and other manufacturers out there (i.e. turtle fins) but kind of have my heart set on scubapro. Many thanks.

Aladin Prime and Suunto Vyper 2 dive computers

Now that you have had your vyper 2 for a few weeks, how do you like it? I am vacillating between a vyper 2 and an archimedes 2. Thx

Beware Suunto computers D9 and Vytec.

Thank you. I am evaluating a Suunto computer vs a Cressi Archimedes. The Suunto are getting beat up badly on the board not only from reliability but customer service, ....

    Zeagle N2ition Dive Computer reviews

Thank you. That helps me make my decision. I used to have a Nitek 3 but sold it because I could no longer read the numbers and the due to their size and lack of a back light. Yep, I hit the big 50 and the eyes went to pot....I like the larger numbers and they are easier to read on my Arch. I...

    Zeagle N2ition Dive Computer reviews

Has any one used the Archimedes II for any light "technical" diving? I was looking at a Vyper 2 but this has been beat up pretty well on the scuba boards. I did more research and have found very little regarding the Archimedes II. FYI... My wife and I both have Archimedes about 2 years old and...

Beware Suunto computers D9 and Vytec.

I have been researching the Vyper 2. It sounds like you are very disappointed in your Cobras. I think I will go with something other than Suunto. Thx

    Tank Threads.....

Thanks to all those who read my note and replied. I tried an electrical "coupling" and it worked great! I think I was trying to make it harder that it actually was since I was under the impression scuba gear always has to be a "little bit different". Note: a pipe coupling will not work as it is...

    Tank Threads.....

Thank you. I did end up using the tank but was just looking for a jig to put in the vise. I understand this is a straight pipe thread. I would guess that an electrical conduit coupling would work since these are a straight thread also. Thanks again.

    Tank Threads.....

I am looking for a cheap method of holding my tank valve for disassembly/assembly. I have been trying to find a 3/4" x 14 pipe pipe nipple. I would use this to hold my valve in a vise. Thx Shipreq

    VR3 vs Cochran

I took the plunge and bought a VR3 through Dive rite express. I am truly hoping this will be the last dive computer I need to buy and that it is fully upgradeable well into the future. I am going to Gilboa this weekend to try it out. We will see how it does.
