I'm heading down the same day with my dive buddy. This will be our third trip to Bonaire. We're staying at Belmar, just south of the airport.
Bonaire is a great place to build your confidence as a diver.
My instructor let me take Nitrox as one of my PADI AOW specialties. He just made me pay the extra for the Nitrox materials. I thought that was pretty fair.
:banana: Bananas are the perfect dive food. Lots of vitamins and potassium to help prevent cramps. Lots of calories to fuel the next dive.

Yesterday the United Divers of New Hampshire performed our 16th annual Christmas tree dive. I had only done this dive once before as part of the Christmas in July, so I was eager to try the main event.

A snorkle has too much dead air space. I'd rather roll over on my back and kick out that way. Much less tiring, and you don't start a dive out of breath.
