Thanks Walter, I saw that thread. I'm just trying to do this dive on the cheap. And I've got some things to do in the afternoon so I won't be able to spend all day. Otherwise, I'd be all for it. I've never been to the Sheridan, but have heard it is a great dive.

Is anyone planning on diving Venice on Sunday February 11th. We are closing on our house on the 16th so this will be my last dive before heading to the great white north permanently.

I've been trying to convince myself that I am going to get up and leave by 5:00 A.M. to make this, but I think I've finally realized it just ain't going to happen. Have fun everyone.

I don't know if I will make that. We aren't getting home until late Saturday and in order to get to Crystal River by 7:00 I'll have to leave here arund 5:00. I'll call and see how many spots are open. If there are plenty and I can drag myself out of bed, I may decide last minute to head that way.

It feels like it has been ages since I've been diving. However, Saturday is out for me. Anything going on Sunday morning?

Today was a no go. Walter, Soda and I all met at Allhambra. 20 kt winds had the surf kicked up pretty well. It could have been a good day to surf, not dive.

Berdman, sounds like a good time. I'm in Florida now, but it looks like we will be moving to Madison this winter so I'll keep my eye out for that next fall. Is there much other diving near Madison?

Unfortunately, I'm going to have to back out. I'm going to Wisconsin next week and my company booked my flight for Sunday evening. I was looking forward to it.

I got my certification through the Menomonee Falls location back a few years ago. I was very pleased with them. The owner of the shop (John) did my certification. A great guy who knows his stuff and makes sure his students know it as well. I highly recommend them.
