Are Canon cameras with TTLs dead? Are strobes being replaced with high intensity LED lights? The G7 X seems like a nice choice, but it would be a pain in the ass to go back to an optical sync with strobes. Would it be reasonable to use a video light for stills with this type of camera?

I had both and I would not recommend the 750 if it was a gift. Cannot see in bright light and the battery had to be replaced every 10 dives. The 770 has great brightness and I dove 25 dives with 75% battery life left. 770 with bluetooth downloads and computer firmware uploads.

In case anyone has not heard, the 750TC by aqualung is horrible with poor visibility in any light and even worse battery life. The 770 does not suffer from the same issues and is what Aqualung should have put out in the first place. This field seems crowded now with Suunto and Shearwater...
