    iPhone and iPod users...

I use the Ideco pro and my instructor uses the RGBM tables to plan our dives, I set the conservative factor up by 2 and it is close enough that he allows me to use it to write down my deco stop numbers and will accept it for future dive planning. Being that it's on my Ipod it does have that...

What do you think about the one who lived?

IF one can live, it's best, it makes is safer for the recovery team to only have to recover one body, and the survivor may be able to tell them the exact or relatively close position of the body (as in the death late last year at Eagles Nest). The recovery team is going to have to go in and...

What do you consider basic spearfishing gear?

I was actually referring to powerheading the tax collector..not the fish...but yes I know they are for protection only. I will have a spare band and already have markings for measurement on my gun but i really like the pic of the one above, that is just great. I feel a trip to home depot...

    Hello from tampa

DiveCon is a nice challenge, it teaches a lot beyond the basics and you really have to concentrate on the students, so your diving has to be spot on. You shouldn't have to take the time to think about your diving, just the students. I have enjoyed my course very much and have now finished up...

What do you consider basic spearfishing gear?

I will be eating what I catch and as a lifelong fisher from this local area, I will not let any go to waste. The guy taking me spearfishing has a spare powerhead for me in .223 so I have that covered as well. JPENDERGRAST you said the PPD is in case you run into a tax collector, are those legal...

What to eat in between dives?

I also like PB&J when boat diving, on whole wheat bread. I take lots of water and usually another hydrating drink like powerade or gatorade as well. But for some reason peanut butter and jelly tastes really really good after a salty dive.

What do you consider basic spearfishing gear?

I have a set of scubapro tropical gloves that I haven't used in a long time but a basically new, one dove a couple of dives on them, leather palms and fingers, but thin enough for good dexterity.
