Thanks for the info. Windfinder shows the wind direction trend over the next week to be shifting easterly, which is good news. Monday the 14th looks iffy with northeast winds, which is my main concern for our first scheduled dive day.

A check on the Windfinder website, Windfinder - Wind & weather forecast Cozumel / Punta Sur, shows some hefty wind this weekend. I'll be flying in to Coz Sunday and start diving Monday morning. Is the present wind conditions causing port closures?

Ditto every reason stated above. Cozumel has been in our annual rotation for 7 years now. We feel like we're coming home to family every time we arrive.

Did the bag drag once in 2005. Never again, as long as prices to CZM stay reasonable, which I don't expect to be a problem considering the number of divers and flights landing there regularly. Going from CZM airport to hotel check-in in 10 minutes, why drag a bag from CUN.
