Dondl,
elaborate "slightly abrasive" surfaces. If you need to remove and get back into the suit I would recomend a DUI TLS350. It dries almost immediately and is very light.
However... I am not sure I would recommend it for abrasive situations. Just go with wet gloves and zip seals. If...
Hmm...
The zip seals with the DC rings might be a good choice. I will check that out.
Well... I figured out how to don using dry gloves... talk about the straight jacket approach!? You need to install the neck seal first and get that squared away, then move on to putting your arms into...
Man these things are rediculous..... what PITA to get these on the suit!
Another question.
How in the world to you guys get your latex neck seal over your head wearing these dry gloves? Zero dexterity, seems like I am going to f something up..... either a torn neck seal or a huge loss of...
I have a couple of questions regarding the DUI SI-5 dry gloves.
Is there an EASY way to install the glove onto the drysuit without having 4 hands?
Is there a way of wearing a wrist seal WITH the dry glove? And if so.... how do you dry glovers get your hand through the wrist seal and back...
I am having difficulty with one of my new suits that has the SI-5 dry gloves.
Man... it seems like a joke trying to get the dry glove to stay put on the ring while inserting it into the drysuit ring!
I have heard that some use an adhesive (silicone or such), to help hold the glove in...
I have a suit with the SI-5, that I just recently aquired.
I'm sorry, but the SI-5 to me is a major PITA to get the dry glove on. The zip seals seem much easier.
I can not imagine how or being able to install an SI-5 dry glove onto a drysuit AFTER it is donned. That I would like to hear...
Man...
I have a DUI drysuit with an integrated neoprene hood. But with the SI-5 gloves on... it looks like it is going to be next to impossible to get the neck seal off my head with the integrated neo hood!?
Anyone have this combo? With drygloves on it is really tough to get inside the...

I dive the Channel Islands. Vis can be 25-40 ft.. Lately with the red tides fall out still lingering.... it just does not get much better than that. However in the past we have seen 60 ft. vis. This time of year..... fairly dark it seems. Today it was s little...
I'd like to know of some good sources on the insurance as well. My understanding is that DAN offers an add on for flood?
Hope some will post where they are insuring their rigs.
This is good stuff.
I like the milk crate idea. I have a few of those..... One is tall and narrow... I will have to see how the housing fits in that one. Now to hope that I always get on a boat that has plenty of room under its seats! :)
Generally we are allowed only a small area under...
Thanks guys...
I was thinking removing the orings each dive and lubing might stretch them out and distort them, possibly causing more problems than solving?
I appreciate the input.
Anywhere better than another for the insurance? I have DAN I can check my policy to see if I have the...
Meekal,
Thanks for the thumbs up. Its always nice to hear that we sometimes make good/acceptable choices.
I was thinking I might as well really try to spend a little more and get something that will fit the need a bit longer.
Anyway..... thanks for the WB info.. I was wondering...
