Thanks for the response. I was wondering if you follow the jetty towards the bay, away from the kiddie pool, if it would get deeper.

    St. Andrews Jetties Question

Hello Folks, How deep does it get towards the bay without entering the channel (i.e. on the beach side of the jetty)? Second, if one does not enter the channel, is a dive flag still required? Thanks a bunch! David

    Pony Bottle Regulator Attachment

The plastic hose clip I'm using now is not very secure - the hose detaches too easily. Just curious what others do besides this or an extra flexible band at the top of the tank. Can get pictures later - about to go to bed.

    Pony Bottle Regulator Attachment

Hello Folks, I'm satisfied with the rig itself (based on DIR literature) , but how to secure (and have quick deployment) the regulator has always been sub-optimal in my opinion. The tank resides on my left side, and I secure the second stage via a hose clip at the top of the tank. A flexible...

    Dive Facility Fantasy

Hello, I'm an Atlanta resident and therefore it's quite far to the nearest ocean or freshwater spring. Precarious lake diving caused me to stop diving for five years. This accessibility problem is of course also true for many other major cities in this country. Has anyone ever considered...

    Some people talk too much

In some of the youtube videos it can be heard the officers saying: "If you keep resisting, you will be tazed", and guess what happened, he kept squirming around, and he got tazed. It's not a torture device, it's meant to subdue the subject. And don't give me that: people have died from being...

ever took a non diver to a shallow dive?

I would let my girlfriend take a few breaths on the surface, or a couple feet down in a pool, but that's about it.

Divers wanted to find golf balls $100,000 year

Is the ocean required for check-out dives

Nope, I was certified in a lake and a grotto. Lakes can give harsher conditions than the ocean. Of course, bad ocean conditions and bad lake conditions cannot be compared that well I think, they are two different kinds of beasts.
