I would use the "poverty" gloves, I use regular household cleaning rubber gloves and stretch them over the rings that I have on my drysuit. Dry gloves for about 4 bucks. not bad. They work great as well.

I have been looking into a compass because I know that I badly need one. What do you prefer? Wrist-mounted, slate-mounted, console mounted, on a retractor? Is one better than the others? And is there a certain brand that is better than others? Thanks for your input.

thanks for your help, but none of these places have the seals that fit over rings on my suit. I have my LDS looking into a place to get them too, but no luck yet.

I have the Andy's DS4 drysuit and I just tore my wrist seal getting out of the water in a hurry because we were being told to leave by the park ranger... ya. Anyways, I don't want to spend $60 like my LDS says the seals will cost me for a pair and I'm wondering if there is a good place online...

I just finished a few weights myself. I got my girlfriend to sew the pouch out of some light jean material. Everything is double stitched with a zigzag type stitch across that, so it isn't going anywhere. I even got a number with the amount of weight sewn onto the pouch. I love them.

Nothing like taking a leak after 40 minutes in 45 degree water. You don't want to rinse out the suit then, it feels glorious. Just don't think about what you are doing.
