There are lots of fault free Suunto's being used in SA - check with the dive shops in SA which computers they have the most problems on (and not only one shop, but a few).

I agree with Andrew (ShoalDiverSA), no reason why you should not be fine. Security is always an issue, but we dive the Shoal and Banks very often and have never felt unsafe (with regards to topside security). The biggest reason dives get cancelled is surface condition which prevents the RIB's...

Did the Tigers with Walter the long weekend of April/May. My 14yr old son will be doing his first dives on the Shoal next weekend, hoping to see a few Raggies at least.
