I am not a big fan of the on-line courses because I really like to get to know the students while in the classroom. I like to certify students in a "mud puddle" so they are prepared for the unknown more so than in 100' of visibility in Coz....but again, to each her own...
No worries about taking the bus no chickens or riding with goats...they are very nice with a/c, comfy seats, and plenty of room for stowing your gear. the bus usually runs every hour.

I agree with BabyDuck! The more you dive, the more relaxed you become, the less weight you will have to use. If 30 pounds is good for you right now then so be it...it is a miserable dive if you constantly have to fight to stay down because you do not have enough weights!
