Ready to purchase? Legend vs MK17

Most Reg companys have recalls from time to time and scubapro has had some. Recall is a good thing because it shows that the company is on top of there product and wants it to be safe. I have Scubapro and Oceanic I think both are very good regs and i believe Aqualung and Apex are also good...

    Help me pick a regulator

I think sometimes Regs dont get mentioned because we the user have never experianced that particular reg, i have seen post from time to time about Apex and they were all good. But i have never used an Apex, like to at some point.

    Help me pick a regulator

You live where there is cold water so you may as well get a cold water reg that will do well in warm water to. Scubapro MK17/S555 Oceanic GT3/CDX5 Oceanic EOS the oceanic Gt3 is a enviro sealed reg like the other two but cost half as much. i have a GT3 and a scuba pro mk11 . Mk11 is the same...

Purchasing NEW regulator in a couple weeks for MAUI

If you are looking for a good breather and a sealed unit the oceanic GT3/CDX 5 is a good bargain, its a sound set up. If you are going all the way take a look at Scuba Pro MK17 or Oceanic EOS . if you are going to get an unsealed reg and you are not diving under the ice or going really deep Scuba...

Sherwood SR1 vs. Zeagle Flathead 6

I dont think you need to worry about SR1 , sherwood is a top notch company . However i think you are limiting yourself. I would really check out the Oceanic EOS and Scubapro line. I have both and they are really good reliable regs, plus they are both great breathing regs.

Sherwood SR1 vs. Zeagle Flathead 6

I am really going to change the mix, my choice personally? scubapro g250v/mk17 or oceanic eos I would put these two regs up against Sr1 or Zeagle any day of the week. The eos second stage comfort and first stage reliability is umatched. Check these out before you buy.

Sherwood SR1 vs. Zeagle Flathead 6

You cannot go wrong with both of these regs,SR 1 may be a little easier breather. But i would go with your Gut on this you really cant go wrong. Second stage comfort is important,as well as is hose routing of the first stage. If you can ,put them side by side hooked up to a tank look them...

    Scubapro vs Dive-rite

I am tired of people slamming ScubaPro Product just because they cant buy it on the net. They act like the product they buy on the net is superior because they got a deal on it , then put down other companys that dont deal on the net ,thats why a perfectly good thread turns into argument...

    Scubapro vs Dive-rite

There are many on this board that have used scuba pro for years, and far as piston type you cant find a smoother breathing reg then MK 25,Atomic regs are all piston type. I personally have a ScubaPro diaphram type and have had no problems with it and it breathes great. The problem with brand...

    Scubapro vs Dive-rite

It sounds to me like you have a hatred for scubaPro, To be fare i think that there are alot of regs out there that is just as good as scubapro or maybe a little better, but i dont think every thing you have said gives a accurate view of there product or company. People like you would like to see...

    Atomic B2 (1st & 2nd stages) vs SP MK25 S600

The SP MK25 is a great breather, but ask yourself what kind of diving am i going to do. If cold water is in the picture you would be better off with the SP MK17/G250V,then your covered ice and warm water. ScubaPro's has a worldwide service network. But atomic is a great reg ,Hard choice. the good...

    Scubapro vs Dive-rite

ScubaPro has been tracking and shutting down dealers who are selling through LP. As consumers we want what ever is the lowest cost but we also want the best. The minute scubapro starts letting there dealers pursue internet sells thats the minute bad service will start. They have been the leader...

    Scubapro vs Dive-rite

It is true scubapro is not the cheapest reg,But here is a couple of things to think about. Scubapro has developed there regs so that even 35 year old regs can still be serviced, parts are still available. they support there dealers,And provide the best equipmnt Available. If you buy a reg for...

    Scubapro vs Dive-rite

If you want a top performer, and if you are diving in cold water. The ScubaPro MK17/G250V is the best you can get. the MK 25 is not a cold water reg. It would do ok down to 45 degrees but if you plan on diving under the ice the MK17 would be better. Alot of people on the board like DiveRite,but...

Which First Stage Reg Would You Go With?

You have narrowed it down and made it easy to recommend your first regulator. my recommendation would be the ScubPro MK17/G250V Overbalanced and enviromentally sealed Designed for cold as well as dirty water conditions. also a great deep water regulator. This could be your first and last...
