    Bad Air??

When he said brought 2 tanks i assumed he meant bought and meant new. It was my bad if they were old, albeit the air proll wont go bad in 3 weeks, unless the tanks were already corroded, in which case any answers wold be null. lol.

    Bad Air??

He had sad that he was only storing for 3 weeks. No tank should rust/oxidize i that little time. Not to mention filtered air is filtered for moisture also, the ony way to let moisture in is to let unfiltred air in, according to the netdoc regulator.

    Bad Air??

Im not quite sure if air can go bad, i would doubt it as some people store tanks for long priods of time, like dive shops. The only way air canbe bad is if it isnt filtered, and has a presence of carbon monoxide. P.S. All LDS have filterered air...hopefully lol

    storing a full tank

Thanks everyone. I told him that it was my undersanding that storing an aluminum 80, at full pressure, for only a week would not be detrimental to the tank. Also, he uses it often. Thanks again.

    scubapro price drop

If what you say is true, this intrigues me. What possible reason could scubapro have for doing this? Lack of sales? Complaints? Cheaper materials (hope to god not)? Struggling economy? I may have to contact the scubapro sales rep to see whats up.

    first reg purchase

I would have to agree with the above statement, altough you can probably find it cheaper than that somewhere.

The great back inflate vs. jacket BC debate

Backs are better for tech diving, but are more expensive. They also help you glide through the water and makes iteasier to be in the "swim position". Also it makes you feel unencumbered underwater, due to the fact that theres no bladders to encase you, like jacket style BC's. Also, all are...

The Andrea Doria, although it is expensive...the most amazing dive i have ever done. By the way, the plates are harder to get than expected!

Physical exercise after a dive increases your chances of developing DCS. Just thought id throw that one out.

    ever been bent

EBdiver's instructor was right. It is because of the higher oxygen content that we get less tired underwater, and after dives. Think about what oxygen does for our bodies, and why we breath (at least i do to speed up deco times) pure oxygen while decompressing.

    Mask, cleaning, fogging, etc.

Buy liquid glass wax. It fills the microscopic holes in glass, and leaves a invisible layer of wax that can only be removed by harsh agents, so it wont wear out, and it prevents your mask from fogging up ever. Only use if you have a good mask lense. You'll be glad you did.

Let's see if women divers are different

If you are a good diver, there are minimal risks, thus classifying it as a rec sport. Its the stupid people that give diving a bad rep. Rec diving is virtually safe, if diving with a buddy, and taking all precautions and being smart underwater. There is a different kind of diving though, the...

Theres one real way to solve it....dive dry! Also, how do you wear gloves with long nails? Or do you just stay above most of the thermos?
