Acteg,
I have a spare plate lying around and thought of getting a travel wing. Are there 11 inch centre holes on the DSS 17 Torus wing for mounting using sex bolts? Can't tell on your pictures. Thanks.
I have the 18lb Mach V. I used to use the DR STA with it no problems at all. But after a few dives, i realised that it was completely redundant as there is no tank roll at all even without using the sta (apparently the 4 little pods did a good job) so i do away with the sta. It saved me some...
How about Tilos Eclipse (ECLIPSE [96147] :: Tilos, Inc The RMSP is $180, well within your budget. I dont know if the Mares Cruise Roller (http://www.scubatoys.com/store/detail.asp?PRODUCT_ID=Mares_Cruise_Roller_Dive_Bag) fits the "carry on" requirements but it sure is a good deal!
Guys, for those of you who are using the Dive Caddy, I'm just curious but how heavy is the bag when fully loaded with your stuff? Im already using the lightest equipment i can find and yet everything weighs around 9kg when the airline carry on restriction is only 7kg?
I just got back from Similans LOB. There are still plenty of sites to dive however the condition is not too good...plenty of dead corals around. Situation at Koh Bon is slightly better though.
I used a crotch strap as I found that the rig will ride up on my body if I don't. I personally don't like the idea of wearing weight belt so I used 2 cam band weight pockets. 2 extra weight pockets on your harness is fine too. It's really a personal preference.
I have the Mach V as well. I undo the cam straps and the sex bolts every time. I don't see any reason why un threading the cam straps will damage the slots ofMach V
Hi Sang, how do you find the dive sites over in Koh Tao? Is this the DC (Master Divers Dive Centre: Scuba Diving in Koh Tao, Thailand | Dive School | PADI Open Water | SSI | BSAC | Tec Diving |) you are talking about?
Hi does anyone has the email address of Seaventures of Sipadan? I tried to use the enquiry form on their website but didnt receive their reply even after 1 week. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
I see that nobody mentioned the Oxycheq UltraLight Travel System. I'm usin that and its incredibly small and compact. Not to mentionit is lightweight as well.
