My first night dive was in Bonaire. Pretty awesome time to...until two very large Tarpon buzzed right over me from behind i swear about 2 inches above my head. Scared the beejeezus outta me. Other than that, very cool stuff. Way better than in the daytime when most critters are asleep.

I did about 60 dives over a summer in Devils while doing my DM internship. Same spot every time and i swear, there were only three fish every single time. I remember one had a scar across one eye and he was there by the platform every single time.

What's the projected retail cost of the icon with transmitter? I.E...is there any saving between getting it now and upgrading vs just waiting and buying them together? And $450 is to much for just a transmitter. As I said earlier, Oceanic transmitters seperately are like $400. Dunno about...

My LDS already closed down. When i first started, i bought everything from them. Also took classes from AOW to DM and MSD with them, plus specialties. Also took a trip to Bonaire with them. I'm in the market now for all new gear. I still have my old fins/mask etc, but i want new. Nearest LDS...

How about a temp perscription for sleep meds? I've been on trazadone for awhile because I've a great deal of trouble sleeping, or wake in the middle of the night cause of some random thought and then can't get back to sleep. With this, i sleep more or less great, don't hear the sounds around me...

True..up to a point. However, When people rent gear (or anything else for that matter) there's no pride of ownership. They use it and throw it back. You obviously care enough to take care of things. But no amount of crappy divers excuse shoddy maintenance. That's only "punishing" the next diver.

Wow..that's terrible he would do that. I thought he got the key cause someone mentioned that the owners couldnt find the key the next day or something. That may have been another accident, im not sure. It almost seems like he wanted to commit suicide.

What's the typical run time/number of dives per fill? Does depth play into that at all?
