Hah yes! Been there, done that. Usually one of the students is also briefed to either drop his weight belt or inflate his BC so he/she floats away. The IDC really was good fun!

Doc, could you clarify what you meant in the last sentence of this paragraph. My understanding is that the soda will bubble because of the sudden drop in pressure when you open the bottle. Is this not the case? Thanks.

I am still missing something. If the floor and the ceiling and the same in a light deco scenario, how could they be any different is a heavy deco scenario? My understanding is that you have to ascend to the floor to start effective deco, but should not exceed the ceiling. I would imagine...
