Has anyone made a map of Lake Martin marking the dive sites?

Key Largo is also concerned about them. They must be trying to take over the Gulf one dive site at a time.

Congrats on your trip to Key Largo. We dove it with wife, daughter, and son 2 years ago. We all loved it. Plan to go back next year, 2012, hopefully. Be sure to hit the Spiegel Grove while you are there.

Florida Keys are on the look out for them, too. Our dive master there last year said to report them if we see one. I hope we aren't in for an infestation of them.

Had a good morning and afternoon diving Madison Quarry. First time there this year. Mostly cloudy sky with temps reaching 90. Surface temps were around 84 with the first noticeable thermocline around 17 feet with temps in the 70's. Second thermocline was a little more painful near 27 feet...

Thanks everyone for the info. The last time we stayed at that Motel, it was kinda dirty and quite musty smelling. Glad there are worthwhile alternatives. We won't be staying there anymore.

Hey, that's great that you got to dive Key Largo. My family and I went for the first time May of last year and we had a great time. Hmmmm, business trip to Key Largo . . . I may have to apply to that company, too!

I was not happy with our dive master. Was a jerk. Perhaps we need to try a good dive shop next time.

I hope you enjoy Coz more than I did. It was Ok, but nothing like I thought it would be. I will save my vacation money for Florida Keys. The Keys exceeded my expectations, whereas Coz was kinda disappointing with exception to the beautiful color of the water. Just my $0.02 worth.
