    Dive flag awareness?

I think every diver knows what a dive flag is, funny how there is a dedicated forum about a dive flag, yet you go on a boating forum, and you can't find a thread with the word DIVE FLAG in the tittle. I guess I am one of the guilty, I am a member of some of the boating forums and have never had...

Heartburn near the end of dives

Omeprazole works great, I have taken it for years prescribed by doctor, but you can buy over the counter Costco sells it. I now take one pill per month +/-, I don't get much burning at all anymore, and I eat spicy hot foods every day.

    Freediving fins might help

No one is trying to sell anything on here, this happens once too many times, where a diver finds himself in trouble because they use something that is doomed to fail in a time of need. This is great the 6 survived this ordeal, and it would be great if we could learn from them, but chances are...

    Freediving fins might help

I freedive and have found myself in currents that take some time to get back to safety with freedive fins, I can imagine that a scuba diver with noodles on his feet is going nowhere against any current. Scuba fins are a joke.

A good snorkel does not need fancy dump valves, the best snorkel is a simple j snorkel.

    "Doing it Cheap" Why?

The gear or the price someone pays for something does not make the diver, I think the ones with the basic stuff are the better divers, they are not concerned about what others think, at least this is what I see in some of the best divers I know. I myself will take that chance and buy cheap, I...

Want to dive again, Need a swim ankle

Know 1 diver with one leg, I have never dove with this person, but I have heard that with the one leg he swims laps around most divers. if I had to do something like this, one thing I would not want is a scuba fin, what I call a noodle, i would want something with capable of moving some water.

DUI TSL359 dry suit, under garment, rock boots, accessories.

I have a DUI TSL 350 dry suit I would like to sell, I don't use it, I freedive 99% of the time. When I bought this suit, I sent it in to DUI and had them install the soft socks, replace all seals, replaced the valve with one that swivels, and pressure check the suit, all was good, I might be...
