Blackbeard's dives a lot of sites off of Grand Bahama Island. I've been on most of the dive sites there, but those are 2 names i never heard of. Perhaps they made up their own names for them.

I still check in here once in a while. Nice that the boatd ready :) Now if the wind would stop blowin' and it'd warm up a little!!

I have a friend that has a boat that's all set up for diving. He visits the "Pete" occasionally. get back to me when it warms up, or I'll let you know when our group gets together again and you can meet up with us.

Some fish turn black when they feel threatened. Other fish take this as a warning sign to stay away. So... If we're all in Black they're going to keep their distance. I'll send you a PM

Discover Diving does Niagara River drift dives every Wednesday evening (once the water warms up a little). Last year it was free and there were hotdogs after the dive. Entry point is Isle View Park at the west(?) end. Get out at thew other end of the park. Check the calender on the website...

Yes, I'd like to chat more after your trip. I know that since I saw my first Lionfish, each year I've been to Grand Bahama the are more and bigger Lionfish.

Great! I wish more people were aware of Freds take on the Lionfish. A few months ago he did a presentation "Lionfish, Saviors of the Reef" at the New England Aquarium and Dive Club. I wish I could have gotten there to see it! It'd be nice if he could post it online somewhere. Have fun!

Grand Bahama Scuba If you look up their facebook page there are pics there There are a few pics on their website. I have thousands of pics from there but can't post them. Must see dive sites are Duncan's Wreck, Theo's Wreck, Shark Junction, Tunnels, Pigmy Caves and a few others.

There are only 4 people on the Island that have permision to take divers into the cave. They can only take 4 divers at a time. Also, it's off limits when the bats are nursing thier young, So call ahead to arrange your dives. I would recomend Grand Bahama Scuba (for all your diving needs on...
