To dive in the Red Sea you need to hire a dive guide anyway.. so you will have a buddy (in the PADI sense of the word) Where are you planning to go ? I am a regular, also lots of girls visit and dive, plus lady DM's and Instructors live out there.

I would presume that when Tom and DDT moved from Fantasea to Dahab divers they shared the website, I would imagine now DDT is fully setup and have their own website they will take the into off the Dahab divers one .Really nice set up. Very professional nicely setup, top kit, and top staff. Mind...

Just got back from Egypt - Dahab. Diving was awesome as usual, very quite, in fact I did a great Gabr El Bint boat trip, had the boat and all the dives sites just to myself and my dive buddy. Beautiful weather, Sea 23 degress, typical amazing viz.. Beautiful, just beautiful.. Simple as that...

Have you considered the Red Sea - Egypt ?

I can't help - yet - with the tech diving but IMHO NICE camera rig :-)

We can hope.. My condolences go out to the injured and their families. Unfortunately more bad press for the sharks. Saw an interesting article on a marine park in Greece. Far more people are killed by bees.. On the up side good news if there are lots of sharks about :D...

As "Shadow" said. .. 5mm suit should be fine. You will always need a guide - law out there and idea to show you the best sites. The Red Sea is PACKED with life, the Vis is typically 40m + IMHO one of the worlds BEST places to dive. You can expect to see all sorts of Sealife, Turtles, Rays...

Have you tried any of the local dive stores in Dahab ?
